In the library of Zaķumuiža, an informative event was held for the library's readers - senior citizens, as part of Euroaptieka "Mission to help". It compiled health issues and advice from health care experts for the fall season for seniors.
The participants of the event met with Euroaptieka health project manager, clinical pharmacist Ksenija Lukjanova, and pharmacy network quality manager Zane Melberga.
Important health issues were discussed during the event:
– what vitamins are needed in autumn,
– how to strengthen immunity,
– how to buy pharmacy products without leaving home,
– how to measure sugar, cholesterol and vitamin D.
A competition was held during the event, and the participants won useful gifts.
