On Thursday, August 10, for the third year, the GP Nord team shared joy with children and young people with special needs and chronic illnesses, as well as their friends, by visiting the "Ābolēni 2023" camp at Abragciems camping.
This meeting and party initiated by the association “Bērzes Strazdi” at the camp organized by the association of families of chronically ill children “Sūrābele” brought new adventures and many smiles.
From 19:00 to 22:00, the packed day’s events were complemented by a series of exciting activities. The children were delighted with various entertainment options: a bouncy castle where everyone wanted to jump, ice cream making, which was not only tasty but also a creative activity, and eating traditional popcorn and treats.
A lot of attention and excitement was caused by the opportunity to ride motorcycles, which was provided by CMALatvia – the association of Christian motorcyclists. This was not only an adrenaline-filled experience, but also a chance to feel a sense of freedom and adventure.
The event ended with a dance party from DJ Vento and DJ Kruzella, who provided a moving selection of music that danced well into the night.
The participants of the event were not only children and young people with special needs and chronic diseases, but also their friends who supported and enjoyed the day’s entertainment together.
GP Nord continues to promote cooperation with the association “Sūrābele” in order to provide a positive experience to children and young people who live with various health problems.
