Latvian Association of Pharmacists conference dedicated to the care of cardiac patients

On February 23, drug wholesaler GP Nord took part in the Latvian Pharmacists Association conference “Current Affairs in the Pharmaceutical Care of Cardiology Patients in the Pharmacy”

The Association of Latvian Pharmacists has celebrated its first face-to-face conference of the year, which took place in Riga, at the hotel “Riga Islande Hotel”, Ķipsalas Street 2. The conference gathered pharmaceutical specialists to provide systematized information and advice on pharmaceutical care of cardiac patients in pharmacies.

The participants of the conference were introduced to current topics and news in the pharmaceutical industry, starting with the address of the president of the LFB, Dace Ķikute, in which the activity and importance of the association in the field of pharmaceuticals were explained. Next, there were lectures from experts in the field of cardiology, who provided both theoretical knowledge and practical experience.

GP Nord, with the participation of its representatives, was a participant in the LFB conference for the first time. At this event, GP Nord presented its most current products on the Latvian market, “Testera” self-tests and “Nutrego” clinical nutrition. A lot of attention was attracted by “Testera’s” latest self-test, which detects Lyme disease IgG and IgM antibodies against Borrelia in human blood, serum or plasma after tick bites.
