At the very end of April, the GP Nord team gathered outside the usual work environment to spend an evening together at the music bar and restaurant St. Black. Good food, drinks, conversations and music gave us a good reason to pause for a moment and look back at what has been achieved over the past months.
At GP Nord, we know well that those who work hard also deserve to rest well. Especially when there is a good reason for it. Over the past two months, GP Nord has twice reached new turnover records, and this has not happened by chance. Behind every result are teamwork, daily discipline, quick response to customer needs and mutual trust.
This time, the evening was not about meetings, plans or task lists. It was about the people who, every day, solve questions together, make decisions, support one another and move the company toward new achievements. Moments like these remind us that the strength of a team is not only found in data and results, but also in the ability to laugh together, talk calmly and simply enjoy a good evening.
This is also a period of change for the GP Nord team. Alongside daily work, the company’s move to new premises is actively underway. The new legal address is “Vismaņi k-5”, Mārupe Parish, Mārupe Municipality, LV-2167, Latvia. For the next few months, however, the actual operational address will remain unchanged — Kurzemes prospekts 23, Riga, LV-1067, Latvia.
The move is an important step in the company’s development. Later, it will also be followed by the relocation of the warehouse to Lidostas Parks 5 in Mārupe. This industrial business park has been created as a modern work environment with office, warehouse and production premises, strategically located near Riga International Airport. Such a location and infrastructure will help us plan logistics even better, improve the flow of goods and ensure more stable daily operations in the future.
At GP Nord, the team is very important — not only in professional everyday work, but also beyond it. Shared events, celebrations, trips and informal meetings help maintain an environment where people enjoy working, growing and being part of a common goal. The dinner at St. Black was exactly such a moment, with the feeling that the work done deserved a well-earned break.
April ended with strong results, but also with a reminder that company growth begins with the people who build it every day. Thank you to the entire GP Nord team for your work, energy and togetherness. We continue moving forward — with new goals, a new work environment and a great team spirit.
