Wrapping Up Summer with Outdoor Activities

This summer has been full of events and achievements for the GP Nord team, so we decided to wrap up the season by taking some time to relax, get active and enjoy being together. And there was definitely something to celebrate – the team achieved its 2026 targets already by the end of August!

A big thank you goes to Olga Stavinska, who took the lead in organizing our summer closing event. Agnese Zeltiņa helped with food arrangements and activities, while Vents Feldmanis took care of the music and sound equipment. Together, we created a day full of activities, good food and, most importantly, plenty of fun.

Team spirit beyond the workplace

Our day at the “Pie Pludmales” recreation and sports complex started with a series of team-building challenges. These tasks required not only teamwork, but also some knowledge of our own company and its data. It was a fun way to see how well we complement each other in situations that are a little different from our everyday work.

Next came the sports activities – volleyball and basketball, where the competitive spirit quickly took over, even among those who would not necessarily call themselves athletes.

But sports were only part of the adventure. The bravest team members took on zipline rides across the pond, while those looking for some water fun tried inflatable tube rides down the water slide. And, of course, fans of warm water and relaxation could not miss the chance to enjoy the hot tub and sauna.

Relaxation, conversations and the summer feeling

After all the activities, it was time to simply enjoy the day. Good food, drinks, the beach, music and relaxed conversations – everything needed to slow down a little after an active day.

As the evening became calmer, everyone gathered around the campfire. With music playing in the background, the conversations continued well into the evening.

Fun for the little ones too

Our youngest guests were not forgotten either. The kids had their favourite food and drinks, water activities, soap bubbles and a trampoline to enjoy, making sure the fun was not limited to the adults.

An achievement worth celebrating

This event was not only a great way to wrap up the summer season, but also an opportunity to celebrate an important achievement – the GP Nord team reached its 2026 targets already at the end of August.

Behind this result is the everyday work, commitment, teamwork and contribution of the entire team. That is why it felt especially good to pause for a moment, look back at what we have achieved and celebrate it together.

Summer is wrapped up. But the year is not over yet – and the GP Nord team still has plenty to accomplish!
