Manufacturer’s technical specification.

1. Failure to follow all instructions and limitations on the use of this filtering half mask /or failure to wear this filtering half mask during all times of exposure can reduce filtering half mask effectiveness & result in sickness or death.
2. Before use, wearer must first be trained by the employer for proper filtering half mask use in accordance with applicable Safety & Health standards. Filtering half mask protection appliances are to be selected depending on the type & concentration of the hazardous substances.
3. Do not use for protection against gases, vapours above the OEL value or in atmosphere containing less than 19% Oxygen.
4. Use only in well-ventilated areas, that contain sufficient oxygen.
5. If the filtering half mask gests damaged or breathing becomes difficult, leave the contaminated area, discard and replace the filtering half mask. Also leave the contaminated area immediately if dizziness or other distress experienced.
6. Never alter or modify the filtering half mask.
7. Do not use with beard or other facial hair that prevent direct contact between the face and edge of the filtering half mask.
8. Do not use when concentrations of contaminants are immediately dangerous to health or life, or are unknown, or when particle concentrations exceed the maximum use level, or other levels determined by your National Occupational Safety and Health Authorities. When a filtering half mask is used in an explosive atmosphere, please follow the necessary instructions for that area.
9. The filtering half mask should only be used if the type and concentration of hazardous substances are known. In case of unknown substances or concentrations or variable conditions, breathing apparatus should be used.
10.NR (Non Reusable) A multiple use of the particle filtering half mask is limited to one working shift, which means that the filtering half mask is designed for the duration of one shift only and must be replaced after each shift.

USAGE LIFE:
Filtering half mask gets clogged with dust particles indicated by increase in breathing resistance. The filtering half mask is meant for single person use. The duration of use should be maximum single shift.
STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS:
The filtering half mask should be stored in the sealed pack until use, to retain its properties. Por transport such pack shall be suitably packed in outer cartons to protect from climatic hazards and mechanical shocks.
SHELF LIFE: 24 months from the date of manufacture. (If stored between -5oC and +50oC and maximum humidity 80%).
The equipment is classified as PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) according to EU Regulation 2016/425 on PPE and is in compliance with the European Standard EN 149: 2001 + A1: 2009.

FITTING INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Open the mask with both hands.
2. Place the mask firmly against your face with the nose clip positioned over the bridge of the nose.
3. Place the ear bands and check adjustment.
4. Press the nose clip to fit comfortably on your nose.
5. Check for any air leaks at the mask edges.
· To check the fit of a mask without an exhalation valve, place both hands over the mask and exhale strongly.
· To check the fit of a mask with an exhalation valve, place both hands over the mask and inhale strongly. Negative pressure should be detected within the mask.
· If there is air leakage in the nose area, readjust / tighten the nose clip.
· If there are air leaks around the edges of the mask, readjust the ear bands and repeat the procedure for a better fit.
6. Replace the mask immediately if breathing becomes difficult or the mask is damaged.
7. Replace the mask if you cannot achieve a proper fit of the mask edges.
8. It is important to carefully follow the instructions for the safe use of the mask.
