From February 9 to 12, GP Nord Sales Directors Pēteris Zeltiņš and Edgars Bružiks attended World Health Expo (WHX) Dubai 2026 – one of the world’s most significant events in healthcare and pharmaceuticals. Formerly known as Arab Health, WHX Dubai has for more than 50 years been a global meeting point for manufacturers, distributors, innovators, and healthcare professionals.
The scale of the exhibition is impressive – thousands of exhibitors and tens of thousands of visitors from over 180 countries. But beyond the numbers lies something more important: movement, energy, and real people behind company names.
For the GP Nord team, this was an opportunity to meet existing partners face to face, discuss ongoing cooperation, and open doors to new possibilities. WHX Dubai is a place where you can truly feel the pulse of the market – from medical technologies and pharmaceutical supply chains to regulatory developments shaping the industry.
“At events like this, you realise that the real value isn’t in business cards or presentations. It’s in the conversations – honest, straightforward, and sometimes unexpectedly deep. That’s where trust begins, and trust is where long-term partnerships grow,” Pēteris Zeltiņš reflected after the event.

WHX Dubai was intense – many steps, many conversations, many ideas. Yet this kind of intensity brings clarity. Clarity about where the industry is heading, how supply chains are evolving, and how critical quality management has become in a global environment.
For GP Nord, participating in such exhibitions is more than simply being present. It is about strengthening relationships, testing ideas in real dialogue, and building partnerships grounded in shared values and long-term thinking.
The team returned from Dubai with concrete next steps and renewed confidence that international cooperation is not just a strategic bullet point – it is a living, dynamic space where you need to be present.
And it is precisely there – in movement, in conversations, and in people – where the next projects begin.
