On September 16–17, the GP Nord team – Pēteris Zeltiņš, Aleksandrs Zaicevs and Vents Feldmanis attended Expopharm 2025 in Düsseldorf – Europe’s leading pharmaceutical trade fair, which once again gathered more than 25,000 visitors and 500 exhibitors from across the globe. For us, it was a valuable opportunity to meet our partners in person, discuss current challenges, and shape the next steps for our cooperation.
Meeting our partners face-to-face
It was a real pleasure to meet our trusted partners in person – something that doesn’t happen very often in the fast pace of everyday work. These face-to-face conversations allow us to openly discuss important topics, listen to each other, and agree on concrete improvements for the future. We were especially glad to hear positive feedback about the speed and efficiency improvements in our system over the past year – a clear sign that we are moving in the right direction.
Key topics of discussion
This year, two themes came up most frequently in our conversations:
- Future order forecasts. More precise forecasting will help all sides plan more effectively, save time, and speed up transactions.
- Price transparency. It is increasingly important to understand the possible price range of each product early on in discussions. This helps avoid unnecessary negotiations where prices clearly won’t meet and ensures that energy is spent where real opportunities exist.
A common goal – improving access to medicines
What stood out in all our meetings was one shared goal: making medicines more accessible to patients. This is the value that unites our partners and ourselves, and it’s what makes gatherings like Expopharm so meaningful.
Looking ahead
Expopharm has always been a special place for GP Nord, and this year was no exception. We return home with fresh insights, clear takeaways, and the confidence that our cooperation with partners will become even stronger.
