Seniors in Latvia to vaccinate against Covid-19 at home

Seniors in Latvia from the age of 80 can apply for vaccination against Covid-19 at home, the Ministry of Health reports.
Seniors can apply for vaccination at home by calling 8989 or calling their family doctor. Relatives or relatives of the senior can help to apply for it using the website “manavakcina.lv”.
It is planned to work actively with seniors in the next two months to promote their vaccination against Covid-19. Intensive off-site vaccination is also planned as close as possible to places of residence, especially in remote parishes.
The organizers of the vaccination process draw attention to the fact that family doctors also play a crucial role in increasing the rate of vaccination of seniors. The vaccination project department is very grateful to those family doctors who all this time actively communicate directly with their patients, as well as provide vaccination services.
